WORCESTER – As a lot more and more nationwide firms start out requiring certain personnel to get vaccinated against COVID-19, some Worcester corporations are using that action.

They are telling their employees to get vaccinated, or strongly recommending it. And in some scenarios, workers could get fired if they will not comply.

UMass Memorial Health, the region’s premier employer with more than 15,000 workforce, is functioning on plans to roll out a required vaccination method in the fall.
